Directory sources

Know what the menu data means.

The directory combines a dated research archive with newer checks of the official sources. We show the difference so you can plan a visit without mistaking an old price for a current offer.

What the July scan covers

The 9 July 2026 snapshot contains 342 venue records, 145 captured cocktail menus and 2,329 menu entries. It is a researched sample, not a census of every Dallas bar. A menu entry is not necessarily a unique cocktail: sizes, sections and repeated names can create duplicates.

How we confirm a location

We prefer the venue’s own branch page, menu, location feed and linked map. A landlord or airport source can help distinguish a branch. Similar business names, corporate offices and other cities are not interchangeable. We show coordinates only when an official venue page or venue-linked map supports them.

Checked date, menu date and historical prices

“Sources checked” means we reviewed the linked evidence on that day. It does not mean the menu was published or changed that day. A dated edition or official publication date is recorded separately when available. Undated menus remain undated. July prices stay labelled historical until they can be matched to the current official menu for that branch.

Archived menus over 90 days old carry a warning. Follow the official link for current availability, sizes, taxes and service charges. A failed check keeps the last supported record and flags it for review; it does not make the old data fresh.

How the city comparisons work

Drink names are grouped into families such as Margarita and Mule. The comparison uses the cheapest recorded priced drink in that family at a venue and the median in the historical city dataset. Drinks may differ in size, ingredients, spirit brand and included service. Treat the result as a description of menu listings, not a ranking of quality or a like-for-like purchasing quote.

Ratings, rankings and independence

Historical guides use the listing rating and review count captured with the July research. We do not present those as reviews collected by Craft Standard, and we do not mark them up as first-party review scores. Being listed does not establish a supplier, customer, sponsorship or endorsement relationship.

When a listing is historical

A failed location check is not proof of a permanent closure date. We preserve the historical record, label the uncertainty and direct you to the official location finder. Corporate offices are not a substitute for a restaurant branch.

Correct a record

Send a correction with the page URL, exact branch, information to change and an official source if available. You can also email info@craftstandard.com. We review address, menu, price, status and removal requests against the source evidence.
